Privacy policy

Short version: there is no form on this site, we hold very little, and you can have it deleted by asking.

What we collect

This site has no contact form. There is nothing here to fill in, so as you browse we collect no name, no email address and no message from you.

Two things are recorded automatically: a line in our own log if you tap the phone number, described in the next section, and ordinary analytics about which pages are viewed. If you telephone us we note only what you tell us on the call, in order to put you in touch with a contractor. We do not ask for and do not want payment details, government identification numbers, or any other sensitive information.

If you tap the phone number

Tapping a phone link on this site records one line in our own log: the date and time, your IP address, the page you tapped from, which button it was, and your browser's user agent string. It does not record the call — once your phone takes over, nothing further is visible to us — and it does not record your phone number.

We keep it because a first-party record of when the site generated call activity is what lets that be checked. It is not shared with contractors, and you can ask us to delete your entries by emailing us.

How we use it

To put you in touch with a licensed HVAC contractor covering your area. When you call, we pass on what you have told us about the job so they can help — that is the purpose of the call and the reason this site exists. We do not sell your information for unrelated marketing, and there is no mailing list.

This site is a referral service

We connect homeowners with independent HVAC contractors. The contractor who contacts you is a separate business, responsible for their own work, licensing and insurance.

Your choices

You can ask us to delete anything we hold about you — a call-link log entry, or what we noted from a call — at any time by emailing booking@hvacserviceexpertsinnewjersey.shop. We will action the request and confirm. We run no marketing campaigns, so there is no list to unsubscribe from.

Do not sell or share my personal information

This is a referral service, so when you call and we pass your details to an HVAC contractor, that transfer counts as a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information under California law even though no money changes hands with you. New Jersey's own data privacy act gives residents here comparable rights to access, correct and delete.

To exercise any of them, email booking@hvacserviceexpertsinnewjersey.shop with what you want done in the subject line and we will act on it. We will not treat you differently for asking.

We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16, and we do not sell or share it.

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand which pages people find useful and how they reach the site. It sets cookies in your browser and records the pages you view, roughly where you are — city level, worked out from your IP address — the device and browser you use, and how you arrived.

Nothing runs until you choose. Analytics default to denied and only start if you accept, which is enforced in the page itself rather than by the banner. It does not collect your name, phone number or email address — this site has no form to type them into, and nothing you say on a call is passed to Google.

If you would rather not be counted at all, Google publishes a browser add-on that opts you out on every site, at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. Blocking our cookies will not stop the site working; nothing here depends on them. We use no advertising cookies and no cross-site tracking pixels.
